How many players should we bring?
Four-five players seems to be the best team size for this game. We'll accept larger groups, but well-experienced groups may prefer to play in smaller teams.
Should we sign up if we only have two or three players in our group?
If you sign up with three players, the booking system will show remaining spots available. This means that other players may be added to your group. But. . . . .
We want to reserve the room for just our group. Can we do that?
Sure. We're happy to honor requests to privately book the game whenever possible - just give us a call or send us a note. We can also post to the Facebook group that you're looking for players to join your team, if you like.
This sounds like a tremendous team-building activity. Can we book your facility during business hours for corporate team-building?
You're absolutely correct -- escape games are perfect team-building activities. They're great for group bonding, competition among groups, or just as an employee reward. Click here for more information.
None of us have ever done this before. Are we going to be totally lost?
Your experience begins with a briefing from our Game Master, which will tell you everything you need to know to get started. Most of our players so far have been first-timers. We'll take care of you!
What if we get totally stuck partway through?
Our game includes a really fun system for getting hints.
What happens when time expires?
If you're still in the game area when the time runs out, the Game Master will open the door. Win or lose, we invite you take a group pic in the lobby, holding signs that show your friends how you either beat the game, or came thiiissss close!
Do most teams escape?
So far, we're seeing an escape rate of about 45%. See pics of winning teams on our Facebook page.
What do we need to bring?
A sense of fun and adventure. You won't need anything else for our game -- any items needed for the game are provided in the room. You will not need to Google anything or bring any outside knowledge. We encourage motivated players to dress in 1920's attire to really get into the story!
Are people really dressing for this game?
So far, half of the groups playing this game have come dressed for the occasion. Why not get into it all the way? This game is definitely more about the story than our previous games. We have some accessories to lend, such as fedoras and feather boas.
What is your refund policy?
We will do our very best to reschedule your group, if you give us at least 24 hours' notice. We will not refund no-shows with less than 24-hour notice, since we will have reserved that session for your group and prevented others from booking.
Is this activity appropriate for kids? We are looking for interesting, fun things to do as a family!
Yes and no. There's nothing scary or sexual but it *is* a speakeasy, so expect there to be a story involving booze, gambling, and mobsters!
Kids who accompany grown-ups will be entertained and enjoy it.
Of course, kids cannot play this game on their own. We will strictly adhere to a minimum age of 16 if no adults are present.
Feel free to call or email if you have questions.
